Millions of eggs are consumed every day all around the planet, because of their nutritional value: they are very rich in minerals, calcium and protein.
Homemade toothpaste
Our teeth are basically made of calcium. This homemade toothpaste from eggshells will fortify the teeth, protect them from weakness and rotting and enrich them with minerals.
In 2015, the Journal of Clinical and Diagnostic Research published a study which explains how chicken eggshell powder can be useful for mineralization of the teeth enamel.
How to make the eggshell toothpaste:
Boil, dry and grind shells of 12 eggs, then mix the powder from the ground eggshells with 1-3 tbsp. of coconut oil, 1 tbsp. of baking soda and 10 drops of some essential oil (mint or eucalyptus). Mix it all well and store the paste in a container.
Use: Use this homemade eggshell paste every morning, the same way as your regular toothpaste.
